Little big man

Just like this blog, this project is because everyone was doing it and it looked like fun! And it was! :) Here is Jack in his little tie shirt on Easter...

I used the tie pattern from this awesome tutorial here!
I've come to love applique, so as long as I can find a pattern (or freehand one)- I'm going to applique it, so watch out!

And here is my nephew, Will, in the one I made for him... his was WAAAAAY more difficult because I couldn't find a long sleeved plain white t shirt - so I MADE MY OWN! (still can't believe I did that)- I bought two short sleeved t shirts from Meijer and took off the short sleeves of one and made new long sleeves out of the other and sewed them on! It turned out pretty good!

Okay, so the sleeves may be a little long :)

Some Easter Love!

I love doing cute little decorations here and there rather than massive (read: expensive) decorations! Here are some of my Easter decorations...

I saw this idea for Easter carrots here. I fell in love! So adorable- and everyone needs utensils to eat with! Here is my version:

And a Happy Easter banner- I had been loving this fabric for a while but never had a use for it- until now!

And finally some table decorations... a use for all those baby food jars I've been saving! :)
